Canyon View South Rim

March 11, 2015 By gcbgordon Leave a Comment

Grand Canyon South RimThis is my first day out with my camera. I had an opportunity to escape my below freezing home and head to the warmer temperatures of the Grand Canyon.

I was with a large group riding the  Shuttle bus service on Hermit Road. I only had a few minutes to compose my shots before our group moved to the next area. Because of the time constraints for my first journey, I concentrated mainly on composing my shots in program mode.

Photo Information:

  • 1/400 at f/10
  • ISO 160
  • Focal Length 33mm

This is my journey of learning photography and sharing what I learn along the way.

Prior to this I strictly used the auto setting on my point and shoot camera.
