First Journey Ends

March 14, 2015 By gcbgordon Leave a Comment

Sedona Desert
Before my first journey with my camera I studied my camera’s manual, read some articles, and watched some tutorials. All that preparation was helpful to a degree but as I am finding out photography is learned one photo at a time.

On my first journey I had minor issues with my exposure settings getting accidentally adjusted, high ISO on some other photos but was still able to capture some nice shots. There is a lot to keep in mind in getting good photos. As I journey along with this hobby it will be a continuous adventure of learning.

Sadly, I must leave this beautiful March weather in Arizona and head back to home. I would love to have more time here … but home calls.

This is my journey of learning photography and sharing what I learn along the way.

Prior to this I strictly used the auto setting on my point and shoot camera.
